How to Purchase a Zorts Coach Card
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to purchase a Zorts Coach Card for your upcoming event.
Coach Cards can only be purchased in the context of an event. If you are attending an event that does not require Coach Cards, you will not be given the option to purchase a Coach Card.
When your purchase is complete, your Coach Card will be reviewed within 3-5 days. If you would like your card to be reviewed sooner, you may choose to purchase an expedited review for an additional $10. In this case, the Coach Card would be reviewed within 10 hours.
Website
1. Navigate to http://zortssports.com, log into your account, and select the event you are participating in.
2. Under the 'Eligibility' tab, click 'Purchase Coach Card $'.
3. Select the 'ID Verification Type'.
a. Passport, Native Tribal ID, or State ID (DMV issued)
4. Make sure the coach's information is correct/enter any information still needed.
5. Click to upload an acceptable headshot of the coach, and a valid form of ID.
6. Ensure that any required contact information is filled out correctly.
7. If you would like to expedite the review of your player card, select accordingly under 'Expedited Review'.
8. Click 'Continue'.
7. Review your Coach Card once more and ensure all information is correct, and the photo is to your liking.
8. Enter your payment information and click 'Purchase' to complete the transaction
9. You can choose to purchase a background check to attach to any Coach Card. Many events require this.
a. Click 'Purchase Background Check'.
10. Enter personal information and click 'Submit'.
11. Read and sign the 'Consent Agreement'.
a. click 'Submit'.
12. Enter your payment information and click 'Pay'.
iPhone
1. After logging into your Zorts account on the app, and selecting the event you will be attending, you will be given a message stating that you have 'Missing Items'.
a. Click 'Fix Now'.
i. If you do not get the 'Missing Items' message, click 'Eligibility' on the upper right hand side.
2. Click 'link coach card'.
a. If the event requires a coach card WITH a background check - there will be a notice that reads 'REQUIRES BACKGROUND CHECK' under 'link coach card'.
b. If the event requires a coach card WITHOUT a background check - it will only say 'link coach card'.
** For this example, the event is requiring a background check along with a coach card. If your event does not require a background check, and you do not wish to purchase one with your card, the steps are the same up until the section specifically about background checks.
3. Click 'Purchase Coach Card'.
4. Make sure coach's information is correct/enter any information still needed.
5. Upload necessary photos/documents.
6. Enter coach's contact information.
7. Click 'Continue'.
8. Read the checklist and review your coach card.
a. Enter payment information and click 'Purchase'.
10. If you'd like to include a background check, click 'Purchase Background Check'.
11. Enter personal information.
12. Read the 'Consent Agreement' and sign.
13. Enter your card information and click 'Pay'.
14. View confirmation and click 'Done'.
Android
1. After logging into your Zorts account on the app, and selecting the event you will be attending, you will be given a message stating that you have 'Missing Items'.
a. Click 'Fix Now'.
i. If you do not get the 'Missing Items' message, click 'Eligibility' on the upper right hand side.
2. Clink 'Link Coach Card'.
a. If the event requires a coach card WITH a background check - there will be a notice that reads 'Coach Card - with Background Check' in the 'Missing Items' box.
b. If the event requires a coach card WITHOUT a background check - it will only say 'Coach Card'.
** For this example, the event is requiring a background check along with a coach card. If your event does not require a background check, and you do not wish to purchase one with your card, the steps are the same up until the section specifically about background checks.
3. Click 'Purchase Coach Card'.
4. Select the type of identity verification document being used.
5. Enter coach's date of birth, upload headshot and photo of coach's ID.
6. Enter contact information.
a. Click 'Submit'.
7. If you'd like a background check, click 'Purchase Background Check'.
11. Enter personal information.
12. Read the 'Consent Agreement' and sign.
13. Enter your card information and click 'Pay'.
14. View confirmation and click 'Done'.
